This is a pretty good series on CNBC about the economy and future value of the dollar. It's worth a look. "Hyperinflationnation" highlights what we already know; we are all in debt and killing the dollar bill. The housing market needs readjusting. The state of the economy is changing.

Mad Money's Jim Cramer has stated he thinks the housing market has bottomed out. This is not saying it's going to dramatically improve. I like the optimism but can't help but question what comes out of his mouth sometimes. The Jon Stewart interview still sticks out.

Loan Modification has increased in the first quarter, according to a government report, but borrowers are still falling behind on mortage payments.
Comptroller of the Currency and the Office of Thrift Supervision released the report finding that loan modifications jumped 55% from the previous quarter and 172% from a year ago.
